5/5 stars

35 and nearly divorced, Mallory didn´t have much luck when her great-aunt Maggie died. However when at the will reading, Mallory finds out she is being given Maggie's house along with all the debt and HOA violations with it. But maybe its tell from Mallory to move to the suburbs.

Let me start this out by saying usually a book by two authors doesn´t always turn out the best however  this was certainly not the case. This was a fun collaboration by two great authors who made an amazing book.  I absolutely loved the fun writing and the romance was just as excellent as everything else both these authors have written.

I had high hopes going into Back in the Burbs and I have to say it didn't disappoint. There was nothing that I really found wrong with this novel. I was entertained all the way through with the incredibly funny way this was written. The romance was just excellent, nothing went too slow or too fast with just the perfect amount of spice.

Reading through Mallory finding herself again after her divorce was probably the best part of this book. She was done with men telling her what to do and even though it gave her problems with new romance, it was very empowering to read and makes her very relatable. And Nick. Gotta love a supportive boyfriend who somewhat understands that she needs to grow. (somewhat because of romance and all).

But like I said, this is a fantastic novel. If Tracy Wolff and Avery Flynn ever collaborate again, I will definitely be the first person in line to buy. I can't wait for March 30th for everyone to read it.

***Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for an arc of this amazing book.***
